Project description: under the auspices of the project, supervision was carried out of the construction work resulting in the construction of a new woodchip boiler house with a capacity of 14 MW, which was designed and built, using equipment manufactured by the Austrian company Kohlbach. Construction work was completed with a very high degree of quality and in record time. The operation of the boiler house is monitored remotely and the boiler house operates autonomously, regardless of the quality of fuel and changes in the city’s demand for heat. Total investment in the construction of the boiler house: EUR 4.812 million, which is relatively low compared to similar projects in Latvia.
