Project description: On August 30, 2024, the new extension of Pļavniekkalna Primary School was ceremoniously opened, providing a modern and conducive learning environment. The construction of the extension began in 2023, and now the result is visible – a two-story building with an attic floor, constructed in line with modern educational standards. It houses 12 classrooms, an assembly hall, and a dining hall designed for 312 students, as well as several auxiliary rooms that will support daily learning activities and create a comfortable environment for both students and teachers. This is a significant step in the school's history, which was founded in 1870 and will celebrate its 155th anniversary. This expansion will allow the school to accommodate more students and improve the quality of the learning environment, providing modern infrastructure that supports children's education.
