History

Firma L4 was established in 1994. Initially, the company operated in the field of tender organization and project management consultations.

In 1997, the company expanded its services by employing electric power supply designing specialists and environment consultants. It may be considered that the company entered the engineering consultancy sector at that moment.

In 2000, a water supply and sewerage engineering group was created within the company, which is currently acting in one of the most perspective sectors of the company.

In 2001, geotechnical measurement equipment was purchased.

In 2002, road and bridge construction supervision group was created and construction supervision and consulting department was established, which became successful in work with EU projects.

In 2004, a street and road designing department was established successfully starting its work in several significant projects.

In 2005, the company, expanding its activities outside the borders of the capital city, established a branch office in Jelgava.

In 2007, on the basis of road designing department, a daughter company SIA "L4 Ceļu projekti" was established, including also a bridge designing department.

Since 2008 Firma L4 offers the services of geographical information system development; Firma L4 Training centre offers qualification improvement and competence enhancement training seminars; the company offers melioration system designing and consulting services as well.
