Development Strategy

Firma L4 is purposefully developing its activities in regions, while expanding the spectrum of its activities and ensuring immediate access to services for all clients. The decision of gradual development of a branch office network outside Riga was made several years ago, aiming at facilitation of balanced and equal development of economic activities over the whole country. The following two economically active cities became regional centres of Firma L4 – Liepaja in Kurzeme and Jelgava in Zemgale. Now one can clearly see than the choice was correct and forward-looking. When you live and work in the capital city ridden by up-tempo forces, sometimes you can have a delusive notion of slow regional development. However, client response, demand, and order amount prove the directly opposite trend to be true. Clients prefer to select the service providers that both have shown own experience and competence in practice, and are situated in relative proximity, thus ensuring continuous cooperation possibilities.

In branch offices, teams of professionals were selected by taking into account the market situation in every region. Due to the improved economic conditions and increased business activities in the regions, as well as increased traffic jams in the capital city, many professionals previously working in Riga consider and accept the possibility to join the Firma L4 team to work closer to their hometowns. Opening of branch offices has allowed us to gain greater mobility, additional capacity, and the possibility to fulfil large-scale orders within shorter delivery time.

The development plans of the company include a new challenge based on the possibilities of the open European market – assessment and mastering of the Lithuanian business environment. A daughter company of Firma L4 named UAB "L4 projektai" has been registered in Vilnius, and currently the company is organizing a professional staff selection and studying clients.

Initial moves in respect to attempts of activity expansion beyond the Latvian borders were realized in 2007 when Firma L4 was certified to design electric installations, water supply, wastewater treatment and sewerage systems in Lithuania, while several company specialists were certified in the sphere of road and engineering communication designing, as well as in management of construction works supervision of bridges, roads, hydrotechnical structures and engineering communication networks in Lithuania.
